Savitri Kaur (Sara Baker) is a 200+ hour certified   Kundalina Yoga
teacher. She is currently completing her 500 hour certification and
has completed advanced courses in “Authentic Relationships” and
“Mind and Meditation”.  She has practiced and studied Kundalini
Yoga for 9 years.

Kundalini
Kundalini yoga is one of the oldest forms of yoga brought to the United States in 1969 from India by Yogi
Bhajan.  Kundalini yoga is a powerful yoga that consists of  meditations, chants, and poses to clear your
chakras and  balance your body, heart, and mind.  Kundalini is one of the more spiritual types of yoga. It
goes beyond the physical performance of poses with its emphasis on breathing, meditation, and
chanting.

In our Kundalini Classes you will experience some hatha poses, breathing techniques, chants, dancing,
and meditations.  The only requirement is a flexible mind!  Kundalini is suited for all levels of students,
beginner to advanced.

Power Vinyasa
During a power vinyasa class each pose flows fluidly and dynamically into the next pose, almost like a
dance.  This class is for any student that loves a fun and exciting workout. It is for beginners who want to
get more experience and also advanced students who want to try some new and challenging poses.
The classes include Sun Salutations, Prana Breath, stretching, and engaging the core muscles.


What to bring:  Please wear comfortable clothing that you can move in.  We supply blankets, mats,
and water, however feel free to bring your own supplies as well.
Our new yoga studio is now across the hall from suite 8.  Please take your shoes off
before you enter
the studio and bring them into the studio with you to place them in our cubbies for shoes and purses.

Cost: Our yoga session exchange consists of a $15 walk in fee for any class at any time.  (Please call 24
hrs prior to each class to be certain all classes for the coming week will be running-we never anticipate
any reasons for classes not to run, but we would like to be considerate of your time if a situation should
come up and a teacher is not able to make a class). You may also pay $12 a class if you pay for the entire
6 week session at one time.  Students who wish to join a class after a six week session has begun are
encouraged to do so and we will prorate the session at $12 a class from your first class until the session
ends.

Benefits of Yoga
Yoga increases your flexibility.  Flexing and using a variety of muscles
helps to tone muscles, eliminate flaccidity and helps to shed excess
body fat.  Yoga increases lubrication of joints, ligaments, and tendons.  
Yoga helps to eliminate internal disease by massaging the internal
organs, a practice that is unique to yoga.   All of these benefits assist
the blood supply to various parts of the body, helping the body to  flush
out toxins.  Detoxing our bodies can lead to a variety of healthy benefits
including  delayed ageing, energy, experiencing inner joy, and a deeper
connection to our Divinity.
